There are many diseases related to the alcoholic habit of a person, these diseases and disorders may be mental, social and even physical. There is a risk of certain types of cancer be it oral or even physical cancers.

Other than the oral symptoms related to alcohol there are diseases like pellagra, and even mental disorders like dementia which is due to excessive use of alcohol. There are certain other chronic brain disorders such as the Marchiafava-Bignami this is the condition of mental disorder. The damaging of corpus collosum is also a cause of excessive alcohol. There is also a frequent enlargement of ventricles of heart and also there might be blockage due to excessive alcohol.

Excessive alcohol even associates with damaging of the central nervous system and even result in brain atrophy. This can also be caused by the accidents that are caused when the person is under the influence of alcohol. The brain muscle and other organs get damaged due to excessive alcoholism. This may affect vital age and cause age premature.
