Alcohol Generated Problems And Increased Risks

100.000 people die each year in Canada and in the US because of alcohol, which is also the most popular drug among teenagers and relates to car accidents that represent the main cause of mortality among teenagers. Alcohol encourages people to have casual sexual relationships, make them lose the performances at work or school, and also favor the use of cigarettes and illegal drugs.

Besides the serious physical consequence of abuse and addiction, as liver, nervous system, brain, stomach and sexual problems, there are also behavioral negative changes: violence, accidents, isolation and difficulties.

(2) Babies

Many babies are born with malformation or complications and have an increased mortality rate in case the pregnant mother's abuse of drugs and alcohol

(3) Low-income populations

Minorities and disabled adults are proved by statistics to often have drugs or alcohol problems

(4) Teenagers

Half of the US teenagers used at least once alcohol or drugs, which conducts to terrible consequences: violence, car accidents, crime and insecure sexual relationships

(5) People over 65

This category has a predisposition to "self-medication" involving alcohol. The large number of medical prescriptions given to this category encourages drug abuse. Alcohol is used in these people to get over insomnia or depression and causes many lesions and car crushes in this group

(6) Children

The ones exposed to drugs are often depressed, anxious, stressed or angry, which degenerates into alcohol and drug abuse. Their results in school are seriously affected
